If you didn’t read this Washington Post opinion piece about moral injury and the American soldier, you should. Among other things, it was written by a member of the Best Defense Council of the Former Enlisted. And it is terrific.
Also, the Post ran a good piece by Michael Gerson, a former speechwriter for George W. Bush, arguing that the 47 Republican senators sent a terrible message with the manner with which they handled that Iran letter.
