Photo Essay: I Know What Barack Obama Did This Summer
Page 1 of 10
Posted July 2008
Having trouble keeping track of everything that happened on Barack Obama’s whirlwind world tour? FP is here to help.

Lofty hopes: In an effort to bolster his foreign-policy credentials before the November election, Illinois senator and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama visited several global hot spots, meeting with top foreign leaders, surveying the United States’ efforts in the war on terror, and checking in on the country’s relations with European and Middle Eastern allies. He was accompanied by Senators Chuck Hagel (R-NE) and Jack Reed (D-RI). With so much press coverage during the last several days, FP condenses his trip and brings you the five-minute tour of Obama’s summer activities.
