I will nt be watching Bush's speech tonight on Iraq live, as my wife and I have an anniversary to celebrate. Feel free to comment on it here, however. The Washinghton Post's Dan Froomkin does a nice job of describing the lay of the land. One prediction -- it will be impossible for media write-ups not to link the situation in Iraq with the physical aftereffects of Bush's bicycle accident. I'll update this post after I've watched the speech be enjoying a lovely evening with my wife, thank you very much.
