I guess the Chinese missed the fact that Hummers ain’t performing too well in Iraq. Joe Katzman over at Winds of Change writes in detail about design flaws and technical difficulties that General Motors’ pride and joy has experienced in the “big sandy,” not the least of which is their flat bottoms. Katzman quotes one former Navy SEAL as saying, “…armoring Humvees is like trying to put a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. The spirit of it is fantastic. The application of it is ridiculous.”
