I should have read Stars & Stripes before I posted this. It reports today that two other Silver Stars have been bestowed for the Wanat fight, to Capt. Mathew Myer and Sgt. Michael Denton. The military newspaper also says that a total of 11 Silver Stars have been approved for action that day.
