Reuters reports that local Polish politicans are incensed that a male elephant they purchased for their zoo appears to prefer the company of other male elephants.

One conservative politican fumed:” We didn’t pay 37 million zlotys [11 million dollars] for the largest elephant house in Europe to have a gay elephant live there.”
