Mid-week, Clinton, President Barack Obama, and other U.S. officials are due to meet with Afghan president Hamid Karzai and Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari. The trilateral meeting comes amid mounting concern about the resilience of Pakistan's government in its battle with Taliban forces and the security of the country's nuclear arsenal.
