I’ll be out of the office this week, so expect posting to be minimal. Madam Secretary will be back in full swing, though, when I return.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I’ve posted a photo of Hillary Clinton and daughter Chelsea from May 10, 2008, when the two were in New York attending a fundraiser for Hillary’s campaign. (Last year, the two spent Mother’s Day — May 11 — campaigning in West Virginia.)

What did the Clinton family do this Mother’s Day? Husband Bill recently told Rachael Ray: “Chelsea and I are going to take Hillary and her mother, who will soon be 90 years old, out for Mother’s Day. … It’ll be great.”
