I wasn’t a big fan of Joe Biden’s speech to the Bosnian parliament last week, which came across to me as bullying and condescending, but some Bosnians clearly liked it a lot. One of them, farmer and war veteran Hazim Imamovic, reportedly offered Biden a plot of land in gratitude for his words:
“He (Biden) is simply a good man, who has done a lot for Bosnia and Herzegovina,” media quoted the farmer, Hazim Imamovic, as saying. …
“He should have a piece of land in Bosnia,” Imamovic said after watching the highly-emotional speech.
US embassy in Sarajevo did not comment the offer.
