I’m pressed for time today, so here’s a quick list of articles about what Secretary Clinton has been up to in the past 24 hours (other than getting her broken elbow taken care of).
—Israeli settlements: Clinton and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, above, disagreed on the U.S. call to halt settlement expansion. They also disagreed on whether the Israeli government had any agreements with the Bush administration regarding the settlements.
—India: Speaking at the U.S.-India Business Council’s summit, Clinton said the United States seeks a “dramatic expansion” in cooperation with India and wants to build a “U.S.-India 3.0” relationship between the two countries.
—Iran: Clinton said the United States will continue to seek engagement with Iran, pursuing whatever opportunities become available.
