Name 10 good graphic novels about war?
After seeing a tweet about a graphic novel about Gettysburg, I realized that I’ve never seen many graphic novels about war. I did mention one about Bosnia a few months ago, but aside from that, I haven’t seen many.
After seeing a tweet by Angry Staff Officer about a graphic novel about Gettysburg, I realized that I’ve never seen many graphic novels about war. I did mention one about Bosnia a few months ago, but aside from that, I haven’t seen many. I’d put the great Maus on the list, but that is more about the effect of war on civilians than about war itself.
Here is Amazon’s list. I haven’t read any of them, and really only the one about the Chosin battle in the Korean War one looks interesting to me.
So I’d like to know about more. Please send in your recommendations, and I will compile your top 10 list. If there are 10.
