British Battle Tank Crushes German Driving Student’s Car

The student was attempting a left-hand turn onto a ring road used for transporting tanks.

Well, that didn't go as planned. A German driving student in Lippe made a left-hand turn in her Toyota Yaris on Monday and didn't notice a column of tanks coming down a ring road. The British battle tank, a Challenger 2, wasn't able to stop in time, and crushed the puny hatchback:

The 18-year-old driver of the car was unscathed, according to a Lippe police report, and was reportedly pulled from the Yaris by the crew responsible for crushing her silly tin can of a vehicle.

Lippe police estimated the car’s damage at about 12,000 euros.
