Funny thing is that Berkeley has a good NROTC unit. I spent a couple of days with it a few years ago. Impressive group, carrying on in the tradition of Admiral Nimitz, who established the unit in 1926. It was the country’s first NROTC unit.
In other military news, the senior NCO in European Command got booted.
