None of these books are terrible. Some of them should be on a “best of” list. But overall, you have to think, whoever is writing and editing these lists just has no idea of war, conflict, history or perhaps even writing about all that.
When in doubt, just go with the great Australian reading list on military history.
On the other hand, this course looks interesting.
