There’s a lot going on this Thursday at New America’s & ASU’s joint and combined annual Future of War conference. I’d go to it even if I weren’t on a panel. A raftload of national security celebrities will be speaking, ranging from Sir Lawrence Freedman to Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster. Also the guys who run the Army and the Marine Corps.

Unfortunately, the Best Defense T-shirt doesn’t get you a front row seat this time.

In other news, here is Rosa Brooks’ take on how the military would deal with Trump orders. I suspect she is right and I was wrong. Want more? The Notorious RB will be at the Future of War conference, following my panel, and probably will kick my ass there too.
