Supporters of Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump are going crazy over the possibility of a debate.

During a late-night appearance Wednesday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” all-but-official Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump offered to debate Sen. Bernie Sanders, who is running behind Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. Early Thursday, Sanders accepted the challenge with this tweet:

Cue an Internet meltdown.

To say passions for both Trump and Sanders supporters run deep is an understatement. Some have channeled this energy into violence. On Thursday, others channeled it into gifs and memes. Here are some of the best.

Keep in mind, Clinton is refusing to debate Sanders before the California primary on June 7. So the Donald/Bernie showdown, if it happens, is likely to be must-see-TV — or at least the latest episode of the reality show that has become the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign.
