This Video of David Cameron Screaming Makes Us Miss Him Already

David Cameron was once taking a risk, having a punt, having a go. He was once so very, very pumped up.

There was arguably no better moment in David Cameron's entire tenure as prime minister of Britain than when he shouted until his voice squeaked at a campaign stop with business leaders in London last year.

There was arguably no better moment in David Cameron’s entire tenure as prime minister of Britain than when he shouted until his voice squeaked at a campaign stop with business leaders in London last year.

“When I get the people who got start-up loans coming into Downing Street and telling me what they’ve done, often giving up a well-paid career, taking a risk, having a punt, having a go, that pumps me up,” Cameron said as his face turned red. “If I’m getting lively about it, it’s because I feel bloody lively about it. It’s decision time — that’s what pumps me up!”

Today, we resurrect this video of him screaming those famous words — “TAKING A RISK, HAVING A PUNT, HAVING A GO” — in hopes that we can remember David Cameron how he once was: bloody pumped up.
