David A. Deptula
David A. Deptula is a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant general who planned the air campaigns over Iraq in 1991 and Afghanistan in 2001. He has been a joint task force commander twice. He is the dean of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies and a senior scholar at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Center for Character and Leadership Development.
