David Helps


David Helps is a Ph.D. candidate in history at the University of Michigan, where he is also a researcher with the Carceral State Project. His writing on police, cities, and international affairs has appeared in the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and Monthly Review, among other outlets.
