Seeye Abraha Hagos


Seeye Abraha Hagos served as defense minister of Ethiopia from 1991 to 1995 and was a member of the Central Command during the 1998-2000 Ethiopian-Eritrean War. He was a member of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front and Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front executive committees until 2001. He also served in the United Nations as senior advisor on security sector reform and transitions until his retirement in 2019.
