Irad Malkin


Irad Malkin is the 2014 laureate of the Israel Prize for History and a foreign member of the Athens Academy. He is a professor emeritus at Tel Aviv University and a visiting faculty member at the University of Oxford. He is the author of Myth and Territory in the Spartan Mediterranean and the co-author (with Josine Blok) of Drawing Lots: from Egalitarianism to Democracy.
