Karl Eikenberry

Karl Eikenberry was
U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan from 2009-2011 and is currently the Arthur W. Payne
Distinguished Lecturer at Stanford University. During his military service, he
spent many years in the Asia-Pacific region, including at U.S. Pacific Command
and in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
