Marcel Plichta is a former U.S. Defense Department analyst and doctoral candidate at the University of St. Andrews. He has written on Wagner Group operations in Africa since 2018 and recently contributed written evidence to the 2022 U.K. Foreign Affairs Committee’s inquiry into the Wagner Group.
