Mohammad Javad Zarif

Mohammad Javad Zarif is an associate professor of global studies at the University of Tehran and the founder and president of Possibilities Architects: Inspiring Ascending Beyond, a nongovernmental Iranian think tank. He served as Iran’s minister of foreign affairs (2013-2021), chief nuclear negotiator, and briefly as vice president (2024-2025). The views expressed here are his own.
