Robert Ford


Robert Ford was the U.S. ambassador to Syria from 2011-2014. Prior to Syria, he served five years in Iraq as the head of the U.S. Embassy political office and later as the deputy ambassador. He received the 2012 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for his work in defense of human rights in Syria.
