Husain Haqqani is a senior fellow and the director for South and Central Asia at the Hudson Institute as well as the diplomat-in-residence at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He served as Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States from 2008 to 2011.
